EARTH DAY E-CYCLE FUNDRAISER: Wednesday April 21st

Members of the Democratic Party of Brown County are invited to drop their unwanted electronics off at the office at 118 S. Chestnut St. in Green Bay on Wednesday, April 21st for our Earth Day E-cycle Fundraiser.

Things to donate: unwanted televisions, computer equipment, monitors, batteries, chargers, cell phones, VCRs, CD and DVD players, printers, small appliances, fax machines, stereos, cables and cords.

Companies and individuals donating e-waste will receive a certificate of disposal for their records from (name of private recycling company) if they want the document.  (name of private recycling company) will erase all hard drives with state of the art software and the company recycles all materials in accordance with state and federal regulations.

MONTHLY ASSEMBLY: April 29 @7PM – 8:30PM

Focus: Rural Politics. We will talk about why Democrats want to expand rural broadband and look at efforts to revitalize the Agricultural industry in rural Wisconsin. Register in advance.

Read Stacey Abrams’ Our Time Is Now with party members for a discussion on Friday May 21, 5pm on Zoom. 

 

Abrams shares her strategy for fighting voter suppression in Georgia. Her work to register voters in Georgia helped pave the way for Democrats to flip the state in the November election and win two Senate seats in the state in January.

CONVENTIONS

DISTRICT CONVENTION of the 8th CD: May 2 @ 12:30PM VIRTUAL

Democrats in Wisconsin’s 8th Congressional District will meet to elect new regional leadership and vote on platform and resolutions introduced by the county parties. Sign up to be a delegate and then register online to attend the event. $25 Registration / $10 Student.

STATE CONVENTION: Democratic Party of Wisconsin: June 5 – 6th VIRTUAL
